In Division 3A, St Leonards C’s Rachel Marson, Sharon May, Elaine Nicholson and Anne Trevena clinched a 4-2 victory over Honiton. Honiton’s points were won by Helena Williams and Zaria Taylor, Zaria and Janet Ingram.
Sidmouth’s Ruth Scrivens, Sarah Bond, Grace Williams and Hilary Herd enjoyed a convincing 6-0 win over Cranford B. Only Cranford’s Marilyn Gerrard and Liane O’Donnell were able to take a game off Sidmouth.
Cranford B’s Marilyn Gerrard, Mo Martin, Carol Doran and Liane O’Donnell drew 3-all with Honiton’s Helena Williams, Janet Ingram, Sue Fallows and Debbie Green. Four of the rubbers were decided over three ends.
In Division 2, Queens’ Sarah Preece, Kate Povey, Laure Theedom and Bronya Pike beat Clyst Vale 6-0 without dropping a game.
In Division 1, Exeter’s Sue Colwill, Julia Melling, Suzanne Owens and Vicky Prouse drew 3-all with St Leonards A‘s Louise Gubbin, Anne Stanley, Kay Brewer and Astrid Janssens. Vicky Prouse was the only player to win all three of their rubbers.
Cranford A’s Nikita Smethurst, Lisa Stevens, Claire Hannah and Rowan Despard beat Exeter 6-0 with just one rubber decided in the third game.
