In Division 2, St Leonards B and Exeter C had a humdinger of a match. 2nd placed St Leonards came out on top by the narrowest of margins – 5-4, with 6 of the 9 rubbers going to a 3rd game. The pattern was set in the very first rubber between the Saints pair of Isaac Chung and Ant Towl and the Exeter pair of Alex Bulley and Jack Southcott. Honours were shared in the first 2 games – 21-18, 19-21. In the deciding game the Saints pair was 16-4 up, but Jack and Alex fought back bravely, only to lose out 21-19. Isaac Chung and Ant Towl went on to bag 3 wins, and the remaining Saints points came courtesy of the reserve pairing of Leo Robbins and Ian Jameson.
Division 2 winners Queens B enjoyed a straightforward 9-0 win over Otter Vale. However the score was adjusted to a 6-3 win to Queens as they fielded an ineligible player.
Queens B extended their unbeaten run to 9 matches with a 6-3 win over St Leonards C. The Queens pairs of Lloyd Skinner/Alex Moir and Tim Goode/Ben Herbert showed their quality with 3 wins apiece. The Saints pair of Leo Robbins and Andy Rowe overcame the Queens reserve pair of Ed Moffatt and Jamie Dawe, but Jamie picked up an injury and had to concede their other 2 rubbers.
Brian Deem and Mark Brown (3) inspired Otter Vale to a 5-4 win over St Leonards C to secure their teams 3rd win of the season. Dan Clark and Ray Puttick pitched in with 2 wins whilst Barry Smethurst debut for St Leonards saw him and partner Andy Rowe also win 2.

Exeter A’s 6th win of the season has cemented them as runners up in Division 1. The Exeter team of Sam Lees/Rob Flack, Geoff Littler/Gareth Pearse and Alexey Bessudnov/ Peter Ford all chipped in with 2 wins to seal a 6-3 win over 2 pair Sidmouth A. Once again John Carter and Martyn Schmidt won all 3 of their rubbers but ended up on the losing side.

Ringswell A ended their season with a 6-3 win over St Leonards A. Ringswells’ Sam and Callum Owens were in great form and deservedly won all 3 of their rubbers. Adrian Midmer and Tom Phillips (2) were the pick of the Saints pairs.
