The 12 Days of Christmas


On the first day of Christmas, a lovely present from Honiton

9 points to Chulmleigh B, and in return the scrooges gave none 

On the 2nd of Christmas, St Leonards D did play the B’s of Otter Vale

The bells rung out a 6-3 win to Saints; a close match fought tooth and nail 

On the 3rd day of Christmas, Santa Down of Chulmleigh did announce

“Another win on the bounce,  and Otter Vale B trounced!” 

On the 4th day of Christmas, St Leonards C gave to us

A 6-3 score over Ringswell B with the minimum of fuss 

On the 5th day of Christmas, Chulmleigh A, a title challenge did mount

For sure, their 5-4 win over Saints B will end up being paramount? 

On the 6th day of Christmas, Sidmouth did play Carter and a calling Bird

9-0 to them but for poor Exeter B another chance to win spurred. 

On the 7th day of Christmas, a result that was unforeseens

Sidmouth –Corby, Harris et al -  triumphed by 3 over Queens


On the 8th day of Christmas, there could only be 1 winner

Queens beat Exeter B 7-2 skippered, well by who else,  but Lloyd Skinner 

On the 9th Day of Christmas, 3 wise men (and Ant Towl) of St Leonards C saw a star shining in the sky

It led them to Chulmleigh where they lost 7-2, but were consoled with loads of food and mince pie 

On the 10th Day of Christmas, St Leonards B avoided a potential slip on the skin of a banana

An 8-1 win with the Otter point won by Brian and Dan, the man in a bandana ! 

On the 11th day of Christmas, to Exeter B  a Christmas Miracle did befall

A first win in 5, they overcame St Leonards A by the margin 5-4 

On the 12th day of Christmas, a fairytale win for Sidmouth over Saints A six, three

4 wins out of 4 so they sit at the top of the Division 1 Christmas tree!
